Background

7X, the UAE’s leading trade, transport, and logistics holding group, has introduced Waslah Post, the world’s first digital platform that brings together postal operators worldwide. Announced at the 28th Universal Postal Congress 2025, Dubai, Waslah Post is a major development in postal logistics, creating an international network of connections without borders and a digitally connected space.

The platform connects postal operators, turning fragmented services into a unified system where smaller operators can become digitally discoverable and bookable. It also enables larger postal networks to gain new inbound revenue and grow volume. Built using Universal Postal Union frameworks and existing bilateral agreements, Waslah Post helps strengthen the postal ecosystem and supports e-commerce growth.

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, stated that Waslah Post enables postal operators to expand, boost revenues, and maintain a key role in international logistics. He added that the platform supports SMEs, e-commerce firms, and individuals by making cross-border trade simpler and more accessible.

The platform helps SMEs, micro-sellers, and individuals ship internationally at lower costs with transparent services. E-tailers and online marketplaces can use Waslah Post to handle global fulfilment, checkout integration, and return management more easily.

The other criterion that Waslah Post considers is sustainability, and the carbon efficiency of the postal networks is a more environmentally friendly alternative to the fragmented courier services.

Nasiba AlShukairy, Group Senior Executive Director of Strategy and Investment at 7X, stated that the program supports their vision as a digital infrastructure leader by bringing together posts, businesses, and consumers into one network while promoting financial inclusion across emerging markets.

Waslah Post uses fintech solutions through the 7X FINTX division as an easy pay-in/pay-out solution provider. The platform also gives data insights to aid in better pricing and delivery routes, hence making it a future-ready solution to global trade.
