Background

The “AI for All” program has been launched in the UAE by the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, in partnership with Google. The program was announced during UAE Coding Day (UAE Codes 2025) and will be continued through 2026.

The program is designed to give citizens and residents AI skills for the future. Free training sessions, online courses, and workshops are being offered. This program helps the UAE reach its goal of becoming a global center for innovation and high-tech industries. According to research by Public First (2025), up to AED 298 billion could be added to the UAE’s economy by generative AI, showing the growing need for digital skills.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, said the partnership with Google reflects the UAE’s vision to empower society with advanced technologies and build an inclusive digital economy.

Google’s Managing Director for MENA, Anthony Nakache, said the initiative ensures that AI’s benefits are accessible to everyone. He added that Google will provide access to its Gemini models for students and offer tools to help small businesses, teachers, and journalists use AI safely and effectively.

The program will teach people how to use AI for creativity, productivity, and data protection. It will also train small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) on how AI can boost efficiency and growth.

The “AI for All” campaign supports the UAE’s Vision 2031 to become an AI hub. It also matches Google’s MENA AI Opportunity Initiative. Google continues its digital education work in the region, having trained over 430,000 people in the UAE since 2018.
